About Master Packaging

Master Packaging Inc. is a privately held corporation which has operated continuously since 1956. As one of the original flexographic printer/converters in the South, Master Packaging established its roots as an excellent supplier to the bakery and produce industries. We soon expanded to other markets and geographic locations as the company added capabilities and a reputation for consistent quality and exceptional service.

 

Today, Master Packaging Inc. serves a multitude of markets and geographic areas including the U.S., Canada, Central and South America, and The Caribbean.

 

50 Years and counting...

  • Established in 1956 as a converter of polyethylene bags
    (1st Customer: A. Duda & Sons)
  • 1992: Named Florida Small Business of the Year
  • 1996: First of three (3) solventless adhesive laminators installed
    (1st Customer: Golden Flake Snack Foods)
  • 2000: Installed new 8-Color Comexi flexographic sleeved press
  • 2005: Cory Packaging (Rochester, NY) purchased Master Packaging, adding Cory Graphics and enabling vertical graphic integration
  • 2006:
    • Installed new 10-Color PCMC flexographic press
    • Installed new Totani pouch machine; installed new Ro-An pouch machine
    • Completed recapitalization and refinancing with Azalea Capital, Greenville, SC
    • Installed three (3) high speed Ro-An wicketed bag making machines
    • Relocated Cory Graphics plate making equipment into Master Packaging's Tampa facility
  • 2009: Sales hit $38 Million
